With a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science Jenna completed her Masters of Nutrition and Dietetics at Flinders University in 2014 and joins Sprout with experience working across the private and aged care sectors.
Jenna is also an accredited sports dietitian registered with Sports Dietitians Australia and is an ISAK level 1 accredited anthropometrist and has been working across various sports including cricket, netball and canoeing. At present, Jenna is studying a graduate certificate in primary health (diabetes management and education) at Flinders University and is working towards becoming a credentialed diabetes educator. Jenna joins Sprout Health Studio as a consulting dietitian specialising in sports nutrition, chronic disease and diabetes.
Jenna enjoys keeping active in her spare time through a combination of boxing, gym and outdoor activities. She loves the beach, river, water sports and will try her hand at almost anything. Jenna enjoys traveling and has volunteered on nutrition projects in the Philippines and Bolivia. She has also visited Thailand to practice Muay Thai boxing and New Zealand to learn to snowboard.
Jessica is a qualified accredited practising dietitian with a Masters of Nutrition and Dietetics and a Bachelor of Health Science from Flinders University, as well as Certificates III and IV Fitness. Her one love in life has always been food, so dietetics was a natural career choice. She is passionate and dedicated to providing practical strategies to promote positive attitudes towards food whilst developing life-long healthy habits for her clients.
Jessica completed her Flinders University student placement at Sprout in 2015, and since then has held the position of Project Officer, dedicating her time to workplace health and menu review projects for a number of high profile businesses around Adelaide. In 2017, Jessica joins Sprout Health Studio as a consulting dietitian.
Jessica has a special interest in the management of dietary restrictions related to allergies, intolerances, autoimmune conditions and personal preferences. She has experience working with clients who have chronic diseases such as obesity, high blood pressure and high cholesterol during previous employment in corporate health. She understands the pressure that the workplace can have on one’s health and strives to assist her clients to find their healthy and sustainable balance.
When Jessica is not at Sprout her love for all things food and health continues. She enjoys the outdoors, cooking, keeping active, socialising with friends, spending time in the garden and enjoying good food and wine. She is extremely passionate about South Australia and supporting local, and one day dreams of owning her own property in the Adelaide Hills.
Themis, who co-founded Sprout in 2011, was born in Adelaide, South Australia. He is a dedicated and passionate dietitian and health professional, who is determined to help as many people improve their health as possible. He has a Bachelor of Psychology, a Masters of Nutrition and Dietetics and is also a qualified personal trainer. Over many years working in the health and fitness industry, and working in private practice at Sprout Health Studio, Themis has helped countless people change their lives. He specialises in overweight and obesity, Type 2 Diabetes, eating disorders, gastrointestinal disorders, IBS and corporate health.
Themis promotes healthy, nutritious and delicious eating - whether you're trying to lose weight, gain weight, or simply ensure your diet is balanced, sustainable and fits in with your lifestyle, and he strongly believes that positive attitudes and healthy habits have a huge impact on healthy lifestyles. In 2016 Themis co-authored his first cookbook Quick. Easy. Healthy. which is packed with simple, everyday healthy recipes that have proved a hit at Sprout cooking classes.
Themis currently works closely with the Dietitians Association of Australia (DAA) and Flinders University Nutrition and Dietetics, and is a DAA Media Spokesperson. He is passionate about health and all things food and loves to share his passion and knowledge with others who are keen to learn. In his spare time Themis enjoys running, going to the gym, watching and playing all sports, cooking, reading, enjoying a glass of wine and of course, eating!
